Creative Cities: In the Making

A forum featuring London-based urban social investigators/artists Proboscis, visiting Thai architect Kasama Yamtree and participating young Western Sydney cultural producers.
For the past three weeks, artist-led London studio Proboscis have been undertaking a residency with Information and Cultural Exchange as part of a larger project in East Asia called “Lattice”.
Collaborating creatively with young cultural producers who are making an impact in Western Sydney and beyond, the project aims to develop new methods for creatively transforming our cities into better places.
Proboscis’ innovative social mapping techniques have been connecting with leading edge, grass-roots creative practices happening in communities across Western Sydney and internationally.
Come along to the forum to see a display of works-in-progress generated during Lattice: Sydney. The forum will also feature a dialogue between Lattice: Sydney participants and Proboscis members Alice Angus and Orlagh Woods.
